🥢 5-Minute Sesame Butter Noodles

🧂 Ingredients (1–2 servings):

  • 150g noodles (instant noodles, ramen, or spaghetti)
  • 1.5 tbsp sesame paste or peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 small garlic clove (grated) or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1–2 tbsp hot water (to thin sauce)
  • Chili flakes or chili oil (optional)

🍜 Instructions:

  1. Boil noodles according to package (2–3 mins if using instant ramen). While they cook, make the sauce.
  2. In a bowl, mix:
    • Sesame paste or peanut butter
    • Soy sauce
    • Vinegar
    • Sesame oil
    • Garlic
    • Honey (optional)
    • Add a little hot water to thin it into a smooth sauce.
  3. Drain noodles, toss immediately with the sauce.
  4. Top with chili flakes, sesame seeds, or chopped scallions if you like.

Optional Add-ins:

  • Cucumber or carrot matchsticks (for crunch)
  • Crushed peanuts
  • Leftover shredded chicken or tofu
